       sprinkling Dusky-lemon Sallow over the area .. few of the moths commoner at Dungeness appearing
       at the inland sites, Feathered Brindle (p), Autumnal Rustic (p) and Sallow (p) .. Ashley trapping at the
       Long Pits had Death's-head Hawk-moth (p) and Scarce Bordered Straw ..
      27th. Ashley Bradshaw trapping on the golf course at Littlestone had Clifden Nonpareil (p) ..

      20th. Small but noticeable increase in ferrugalis and noctuella to the traps .. Dusky-lemon Sallow (p)

       30th. Maple Prominent in Lydd .. sprinkling Dark Sword Grass over the area .. 
       29th. Dingy Shell (p) in Lydd .. Small Fan-foot (p) at Littlestone .. 
       28th. Barry counted 450 Silver Y at his trap at Greatstone .. 40-50 at the inland sights ..
       27th. Barry had all the best moths at Greatstone .. Scarce Chocolate-tip, Slender Brindle (p), 
        Lunar-spotted Pinion (p), Lilac Beauty (p) and Plumed Fan-foot (p) .. the latter at Littlestone also ..
        the Tebbs had Nut-tree Tussock (p) and Large Emerald (p) at New Romney ..

       20th. Brian had Mere Wainscot (p) at Greatstone .. Gem at the back of New Romney .. Bernard
        Skinner given permission to trap on the Rspb reserve, had two Splendid Brocade, he said that the
        trap and surrounding area covered, like wallpaper, with Garden Tiger (p), he estimated c200 ..
       19th. Jersey Tiger (p) and Small Mottled Willow (p) at the back of New Romney .. two Orache,
        Small Scallop (p) and several Splendid Brocade at Boulderwall .. Dorothy had Dusky Hook-tip (p) 
        at Dungeness .. Bernard Skinner was trapping at the top of Dunes Road .. recorded 115 macro
        species .. of note .. 4 limbata, 2 Splendid Brocade and 2 Orache ..
       18th. Barry had five Splendid Brocade on the Rspb reserve, three at Boulderwall and two at the 
        Accomodation Block .. Orache and Dewick's Plusia (p) in Lydd .. the pyral terebrella (p) at the back 
        of New Romney .. David had Royal Mantle (p) at Dungeness ..

       15th. the pleasant warm, still period with plenty of moths to look at ended with some strong winds and

      31st. Keith had Dew Moth (p) and Brown Silver-line (p) in Lydd .. DSG at Pump House
      30th. Its been the leanest spring that we can remember .. the last week has seen the appearance of
       most of the usual suspects but numbers scarily down .. few migrants 29th .. ferrugalis and 6 
       Silver Y and 3 Dark Sword Grass on 30th at the Pump House ..
      16th. The wind has been in the north or north-east for most of the month .. low night temperatures, 
       frost some nights .. sometimes two or three moths, sometimes none .. The last couple of nights have
       seen a few species to the traps .. but still poor ..
       3rd.  ... still very few moths to the traps ..
